In the midst of shooting a few travel projects in LA, I had the pleasant surprise of running into Eric Thorsen on Malibu beach. What caught my eye was the car he was driving – a shiny ’72 Datsun 510.
Turns out that in addition to being a super cool guy he is the owner of Thorsen Custom Upholstery and specializes in restoring classic cars and designing interiors for hot rods. A visit to his shop in Agoura Hills was a feast for the eyes. The passion in his work was clearly showing and he took the time to show us around including finished projects as well as those in progress.
